Wild Injury Update

"And the hits just keep on coming" that’s a favorite movie line of mine from the Tom Crusie, Jack Nicholson flick A Few Good Men – I actually like it better than the "You can’t handle the truth" line that makes the movie famous. Both quotes fit my current Minnesota Wild mood regarding Wild team injuries.

With Marian Gaborik out with his infamous groin problem and Pavol Demitra the same, the Wild are looking pathetic. Wes Walz is out on a personal leave and although that is not technically an injury, it might as well be. Now we can add Stephane Veilleux to the injured list. Veilleux was hit by a puck in practice Saturday and broke his cheekbone – ouch! He is out for at least a week if not longer.

Come on Wild players, get healthy and get on the ice and play some hockey!

Could this be a bad move? Yeah, maybe for this year...but the future? I'm not so sure.
