Minnesota Wild beat Nashville Predators in Nashville

Wild 4, Predators 3

The trip to Music City proved melodious for the Minnesota Wild. Beating the Nashville Predators 4-3 gave the Wild a much needed lift after losing two pitiful games at home. Niklas Backstrom played his "A" game and made 40 saves. Matt Foy and Aaron Voros scored the Wild's first two goals, Gabby and Branko Radivojevic added two more. Kurtis Foster took a puck to the face and will probably be out for a week or so.

The Wild started the night ninth in the Western Conference and one point out of a playoff slot. There are still plenty of games to go, but with a tight division every point counts and getting two on the road is huge.
