Minnesota Wild Team Captains

Wild head coach Jacques Lemaire announced his November team captains:

Brian Rolston has been given the "C" for this month and center Mikko Koivu and defenseman Nick Schultz are the alternate captains.

Three of my favorite Wild players for sure! It’s great to see them rewarded for their leadership, hard work and their ability to stay healthy...Yes, that was a direct slam against other "leaders" on the Wild team Pavol Demitra and Marian Gaborik – Their nagging "groin injuries" are enough to make me want to puke. Toughen up boys, this is the NHL! Congrats Rolston, Koivu and Schultz!
