Notes
  • The Wild have scored the fewest goals in the Western Conference (76).
  • The Wild are 6-4-2 at home against the Flames (17-11-3) over the last three seasons.
  • Gaborik has five goals and 11 assists against Calgary in the last 10 games.
  • Jarome Iginla has a five-game points streak in Minnesota, scoring four goals with three assists.
  • Owen Nolan played 77 games in Calgary last season, unfortunately he'll have to wait a little longer to face off against his former mates.
Questions to Answer
  1. With Burns finally back to the blue line, can the defense shore up the problems they've had the last three weeks and provide some offensive punch in breakouts and counter attacks?
  2. We know Gaborik will have short shifts, but will he get into the flow of full-speed?
  3. Better defenseman, Brent Burns or Dion Phaneuf?
  4. Can the Wild stop Jarome Iginla?
  5. Will the Xcel crowd boo #10?

Crowd at the X with a less than enthusiastic cheer when his name was announced.

6 in a row!!

This team is really good everyone. Oh by the way, Zidlicky gets to skate all night for the half-assed effort which lead to the game winner for calgary. I would LOVE to see some of these guys get scratched.
