One of my buddies is deployed in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and he sent me this picture of his unit holding the State of Hockey flag that the Minnesota Wild sent them. He knows I am a MN Wild freak and thought I could use it on my wild hockey blog.

This picture really made think about enjoying hockey in a different part of the wilderness!  

I promised to take him to a Wild hockey game when he gets back and I am happy to see my Minnesota Wild team flag flying high across the ocean. Hooah! to all of our dedicated soldiers, especially Sgt Crear with the 2-147 AHB.
