Questions to Answer

  1. Will the Wild be the first team to 10 losses?
  2. Can the goal against Nashville spark something in Owen Nolan?
  3. With Marian Gaborik out, who will pick up the offensive slack for the Rangers?
  4. With Sean Avery out, who will pick up the being offensive slack for the Rangers?
  5. This is a frustrated team. Can Todd Richards get them to turn things around?

1. Yes
2. Not likely
3. Kotalik
4. Uh… they are the Rangers, so… everyone? They are too closely related in my head to the Yankees, so they are evil
5. Hmmm… is it too blunt to just say: NO

I don't think God is playing tonight

He pulled a hammy while trying to stradle the blue line on three on one drill at practice.

Interesting

It seems as if the Wild have all but abandonded the 2-man forecheck.

Yeah?

Looking good from your suite?

Not so bad

They’re applying pressure, but can’t finish. We’re right above the goal Lundqvist was just in, and he looked awfully good. They look a bit more inspired tonight.

I'm wondering if Richards decided they're just not ready.

Look down at the suite across from you

I’m even with Backstrom’s goal line. Wearing a striped shirt.

I love Boogaard in the low slot when the Wild have possession! He takes up so much real estate and causes so many problems

Wild up 3-1 at the end of 2

Playing a great game through 40 minutes. A couple mistakes, but only one has burned them so far.

3-1 Wild at the end of 2

Without Gaborik and Higgins, there isn’t much offense in New York.

Was going to try to listen to the WCCO feed on NHL.com but theres a high pitched squeal that’s making it unbearable to listen to.

If it were FSN, I’d have guessed it was Kevin Gorg, but alas.

Gorg not on FSN tonight

so it very well could be him

Quick goal for New York. This could get dicey.

Good atomosphere at the X tonight

The NYFD was right behind us. They were pretty cool for the most part, but I can’t forgive the short and bald dude in the White Rangers sweater that couldn’t wait for the National Anthem to be over before the loud “Let’s Go Rangers” chant.

Dude, I have the utomost respect for you being at ground zero on 9/11, but that behavior isn’t cool. Especially with a gulf war veteran standing next to the anthem singer saluting the flag.

Wild Win!

Let's Go Wild!
