The Minnesota Wild have recalled forward Robbie Earl from the Houston Aeros as an emergency replacement for Chuck Kobasew. Kobasew was listed as day to day with an upper body injury after the Wild's 4-3 shootout loss on November 12 to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Earl has five goals, three assists in 15 games this season with the Aeros. Whether or not Earl is likely to add to his nine career NHL appearances tonight against the Washington Capitals is yet to be seen.
