Questions to Answer

  1. How much better will the Wild be with no Martin Havlat?
  2. Will we see the future of the NHL in John Tavares?
  3. Richard Park is still in the NHL? Seriously? Wow.
  4. Will the aggression from yesterday's practice show tonight?
  5. If they come out flat, should we start to wonder whose job it is to motivate professional athletes?

We Might be Better without Havlat

With how Helter Skelter his is.

Lines FYI

For the Isles, you’re probably looking at:
Moulson/Tavares/Park (Heh, yes, jack-of-all-trades Park: 3 assists last game!)
Bergenheim/Nielsen/Okposo
Sim/Bailey/Hunter
Comeau/Thompson/Jackman

Also, Martinek is done for the year, so enter Minnesota native Jack Hillen, who’s off to a nice start.

Lighthouse Hockey: Side effects may include Weight gain and frequent game loss.

Thanks Dominik

Maybe some of us will swing by tonight and we can discuss all things Tavares.

And nothing on the 5x3

I think they went with Mittens-Koivu-Bruno w/ Zids and Johnsson the whole 1:30.

The crowd was getting a little bit restless there, too… I’m torn on whether that is ever a good thing or a bad thing? Sometimes the players need to hear it, but I think this group knows already that they need to get their shit together.

If anyone is still watching...

I think the 3rd period is about to start; Wild are down 2-1 with about 1:30 of PP time scheduled to start.

I’ve been flipping between UM/UMD (tied at 2 into the early stages of the 3rd), this game and DU/UND just started on FCS Atlantic, or FS-RM for dish users.

And the UMD Bulldogs win with less than 10 seconds left :-O

Sorry, I know this is a Wild blog, but that was a rough strech there with the remote flipping between Wild, posting at Lighthosue and some choppy DVRing. Who says sitting on the couch isn’t a work out? ;-)
