A little birdie says the University of Minnesota has been contacted by the Minnesota Wild about the possibility of hosting the NHL's Winter Classic outdoor game at the Gophers' football stadium. This season's NHL Winter Classic will be Jan. 1 at Fenway Park between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers.
