- The Calgary Flames have been the best in the Northwest (no matter what folks in Colorado will have you believe) will the Wild get a good measuring stick against a solid team?
- Will the curse of the Saddledome continue to hover over the Wild?
- Which Finnish goalie will shine?
- Bruno has eight points in the last five games, and Mittens has seven goals in his last eight. Can they keep it up?
- The Flames have the best career record against the Wild. Why? They're really not that good, are they?

On that last rush with about :30 left. It looked like Martin had a step and I thought Kyle could have saucered it out there for him.
Hopefully, Richards will have them look at the tape. Maybe they’ll get it if they can stay healthy and together.

All of a sudden the Oilers / Blues game went from a score of 1-3 with St Louis looking dominant and all of a sudden I looked over at the game and Edmonton managed to get up 5-3 in the last 7-8 minutes.

Chances aren't as favorable though
Out of 29 shots there have only been 5 scoring chances for the Wild, 8 out of 10 shots have been classified as scoring chances for the Flames.
How annoying is it that the Wild aren't winning with those numbers?!

Answers to the 5 question
1) We’re trying to fight our way back into the hunt, so for the sake of team confidence let’s say this is a great measuring stick. (only because we got the win)
2) It tried really damn hard — maybe the curse was thrown off by the cold?
3) Despite Backstrom getting the win, Kiprusoff held off 44 of 46 shots. From the Flames perspective, Kiprusoff gets the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd star.
4) Strangely enough, the underdogs of the team pull it off. Shep and Havlat — I wonder what the line would have been on that in Vegas?
5) Kiprusoff and Iginla? Nah, those guys have no talent at all. In fact, Calgary should them to us for Boogard and a bag of pucks. Right?
