Questions to Answer
- Minnesota is playing well, or at least well enough to win, can they keep it up and get ahead of the Canucks tonight in the standings?
- Can the Wild keep the Sedin's off the board?
- How will Josh Harding look in place of Niklas Backstrom?
- Will Havlat continue to be on the 4th line all game, or will he move up if they are playing well, perhaps moving Sheppard down to the 4th?
- Vancouver has been injured all season, but now that they're finally healthy, can they find some consistency?

The Caps / Leafs game was a great way to start HNIC
The Caps always throw me off having both Nicklas Backstrom and defensemen #55 Jeff Schultz.
While we're waiting for things to start...
Is there a worse looking jersey in the league than either the powder blue Penguins or Thrashers jersey?
I love the Powder Blue Penguins Jersey..
The Preds third Jersey’s are Atrocious
The Thrashers are bad
But the powder blue Pens might be the
best 3rds in the league. The worst might be the Panthers.

We look like we're playing a back-to-back and Vancouver looks rested
Josh needs to find his game soon though.
College Hockey Update
The Gophers beat Michigan Tech 3-2 to sweep the series tonight
Mavericks 3 Beavers 2 Final
Duluth 6 Denver 3 Final
CC 4 SCSU 1 Final
Wisco 4 Sioux 3 — huge fight at the end of the game; multiple 1:1s and maybe some players not playing next week (maybe). They still shake hands with WHCA official oversight.
Let's Go Wild!
Really not a robbing...I coulda saved that
pretty weak shot by Havs
Fair enough.
I was just reading Russo’s twitter and making a judgement based on that, too.
Let's Go Wild!
HNIDY!
Great patience! I’m getting on the Havlat bandwagon—I knew it was only a matter of time.
Let's Go Wild!
UGH..another Nucks goal...Get Backstrom in there
Trade Harding…i trust Khaboudin more than Harding
Damn.
Need to clear the zone there. Have I ever mentioned how much I dislike the Sedin’s… Burrows scores. 3-1 Nucks
Let's Go Wild!
Huh.
Bad matchup there. Also Josh, you need to be ready for that puck…being you were already on that side.
Zanon!
Hahahaha. Garbage goals count the same! Off of Luongo’s stick with 5 seconds left to make it 3-2
Let's Go Wild!
Just like i predicted...
Two goals by d-men…and yes, I was talking Zanon and Hnidy. Can’t argue it.

I think Russo is on to something here
Russostrib: Wild wants to come back and win this game, Backstrom better start the 2nd. It’s that simple, really.
Sorry, Hards, I love ya, but…
Let's Go Wild!
Fantastic goal by Zanon
Not only was it a class goal, but the play to chip the puck out and the drop for Havlat were fabulous.

Dude
The power play has been terrible all season. It’s mindblowing

Yeah, but
That only lasted a couple weeks. It’s been well below the NHL median since

My word of advice for Everybody
NEVER EVER buy the Fiery Buffalo Wings from KFC…Good Lord I’m breathing fire over here
What?
Boogard committed that penalty? I’m confused? Commercial break to continue that confusion.
My first guess is a “diving” call, but that is waaay off because Boogard just FELL DOWN.
Let's Go Wild!
Tough break
That could have easily been the interference and a dive

I want the Loungo from the start of the year
You know, the one they had to pull because he couldn’t stop a puck to save his life.
This is pathetic
Put a forward at the fucking point. Shane Hnidy should NOT be on the power play

Personally
I think if he’s used correctly he can be an asset. He’s big, draws penalties and can create problems in front of the net. Now, if he had better hands, it would be a much different story.

Have I mentioned how much I dislike the Sedins..
I mean, only because the re-signed with the Nucks. If they could have worn the Iron Range Red this year, I would have loved them.
Terhar and Greenlay can stop fellating them now, thank you.
Let's Go Wild!
Screw job
That should absolutely not be a penalty. What a crock of shit

Kim Johnsson
I’ve been hard on you this year, but that was a great job on a 3-1.
Too bad the offense can’t put one in here to make it interesting.
Let's Go Wild!
Can't expect them to win tonight after last nights grind
especially against a fresh Vancouver team…Oh well just gotta move on to Columbus.
Can they get lucky here at the end??

The Wild outplayed the Canucks tonight
But they ran into a better goalie in Luongo, and Harding killed them.

Goaltending
That’s the difference maker here.
Shots were 41-29
Without Harding letting in some of those soft goals we could have won this one.
