And so it begins.
This is likely the last time fans at the Xwill see Marian Gaborik in a Wild sweater.

I am not impressed with the way the Wild have played so far tonight. Shockingly the crew on TV disagree with me.

Wild goal!!
Dan Fritsche on the breakaway during a delayed penalty. 1-1 tie.

Not this season
Hopefully next year. Now we have Burns, Bouchard and Schultz all out with mushy-head.

The way it sounds it's pretty bad, nothing to mess with.

That's alot of talent
Is this going on with other players in the league?
by mckay10 on Apr 10, 2009 7:52 PM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
Not sure
I’m doing some digging for my post-season articles.

Trend
I hope it’s not, because the NHL might use that to further their goal of taking the roughness out of hockey. My wife just started watching a few years ago and she understands the role of the enforcer, granted the injuries have more to do with repetitive hits than anything, but if guys are getting hurt now on what I think are usually suspect hits, what will happen if there is not immediate response to show that kind of stuff won’t fly. Start of the second.

It's likely a helmet/mouthguard issue

Dan Fritsche asked about the mentality tonight
“Game 7, playoffs. That’s all there is to it”

I thought it was game seven about seven games ago!

Preds on the power play.
Johnsson off for holding. Wild need to kill this.

Yet another head injury for the Wild
Fritsche won’t be back on the ice tonight.
by nathaneide on Apr 10, 2009 8:11 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
He's a 3rd line center
He’s not a finisher, but he’s a decent playmaker. He’s pretty much what I expected.

Clutterbuck comes to play every night. I hope he sticks around
by mckay10 on Apr 10, 2009 8:28 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
He will
He’s a pure energy guy. Love his game. He and Fritsche are my favorite guys this year?

Interesting
What’s the rule here? Pulled down, kicked it in…

If this is overturned, then it needs to be a penalty for tripping.
Nice to see someone drive to the net
by nathaneide on Apr 10, 2009 9:22 PM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
No distinct kicking motion. That needs to be a goal.

My wife and I were in our season ticket seats in section 111, and after some diliberation, we’re not sure how we feel about this. I do thank him for what he has done, but am p*$$3d about “the end.”
The one thing we can agree on: we waved “good-bye” with that last effort. Sorry, man, but good-bye.
