So, it's the offseason.....now what?

Lemaire step's down, and Gaborik is about to, possibly, become a F.A. What about the rest of the team as well?

What are your thoughts or idea's?

Well, here's my thought's on it.

Coach - Well, two fairly known names come to mind, both of which could be good or blow up in our faces. Peter Laviolette and Guy Carbonneau. Laviolette has shown, like Lemaire, with the right team, a Stanley Cup is winnable. Less then that, still respectable. While Carbonneau got the blame for the Canadiens this year, things didn't get alot better even after his firing. So makes me wonder if that was player's as well or perhaps the GM (Gainey) want's a totally perfect world and can't blame the caoch when the players get involved in crime outside of hockey. Also, perhaps a few inside guys worth looking at as well.

Gaborik - Well, here is a touchy subject I am sure......woop's, was that a sprain I hear? What to do with Goldbrick. Well, easiest thing and more likely thing to happen is he walks. My thought would be spend a few dollars, re-sign him if possible, perhaps a 2 year contract if able. Then, middle of off season if already signed, court a team that would like his services and trade him. Yeah, spending money short term for perhaps more in return later. Far fetched? Perhaps, but it seem's alot of fan's out there have had their fill including myself. Just somehow, would be nice to get something back with him. But if we lose him via F.A., we won't die either.

Also, a few other changes I think could be added. To me, time for Risebrough to go. Seems when the timing was ripe for action and moves, there was too much inaction.

Just my feeling anyways.
