You've got to be kidding

Time for season ticket holders to let Mr. Leipold know these two guys couldn’t run a minor league operation. If Leipold hires anything less than a Brian Burke, Bob Gainey or Jacques Lemaire as the new GM, WILD fans need to bend over because we’re getting glorified NHL interns and nothing more.

Spend your disposable income on anything but the WILD if the WILD’S "new" owner hires anyone from Nashville, a veritable hockey hotbed in "grits & moonshine" country where a crowd of 8,500 is a good night.

Disagree completely

While I agree with the sentiment of not wanting the Nashville duo, I could not disagree with you more on hiring a retread.

I do not want someone who has been fired from a previous GM position. I want new life, new ideas, new challenges. I’m willing to start over, especially if it gets the Wild to where Chicago and Pittsburgh are.

I want Bowman or Dudley from Chicago or Chuck Fletcher from Pitt.

Proprietor of Hockey Wilderness - We take Minnesota hockey WAY too seriously.
