Minnesota Wild trade for Kyle Brodziak
The Minnesota Wild have traded the 99th and 133rd picks to the Edmonton Oilers for Kyle Brodziak and the 161st pick.
Not a lot of points, but he played for Richards at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in 2006-2007, so it's a level of comfort for Todd Richards. Look for him to center the 3rd line.

Not a bad use of a 3rd round selection
a player who can play immediatly at a position of need (Center) and a later pick (4th round).

i am sad to see him go from oil. he scored 25 goals from the 4th line in 2 years…can easily be 15-20 goal range with more minutes

He’s also a good face-off man as well, which the Wild have always lacked throughout thier entire history. With Koivu, Belanger, and now Brodziak taking more face-offs, we should see the Wild winning more than they lose.
