Koivu vs Koivu for the home opener

I’m sure that won’t get hyped at all.

Tickets

Does anyone know when tickets will be on sale? I’m looking to go to the Oct 6th game while I’m in town to catch the Vikes Monday nighter.

According to the Wild website:

Regular season single-game tickets will go on sale Sept. 12. Pre-season tickets will go on sale Aug. 22.

Thanks, just saw that too. Not sure why they wouldn’t just put it where you can click on Single Game Tickets. You had to actually go into the article. Do you guys think ticket demand will be high at the beginning of the season? I just don’t want to be ripped off by Stubhub.

Brutal

That first month is going to a be a killer. This new regime better be ready to score some goals from the get-go. Off on the road to start against some quality teams….gonna be an interesting October.

I agree, Minnesota needs to get into a scoring frenzy this year. They are great defensively, but really lack scoring.

Brutal isn’t the word for it there is going to be a game one almost every two days because of the Olympics. Yikes.

AAAGGGHHH

I’ll actually be in Minnesota for the start of the season (for a wedding)……..on Columbus Day weekend, when they’re away. And the Bruins will be at home to start the season, but I’ll be in Minnesota for like 2 games. Dammit.

Anybody do viewing parties in the Minneapolis area? I’m thinking the Sharks game on the 10th.

I’ll be watching that from home on Center Ice. I might come down to Minnesota end of March, early April to catch the Hawks and the Sharks playing at the Xcel.

We need an event

I’m in talks with a couple establishments to host a Wild/NHL Tweetup for the
opener. More information will be coming as we get closer.

A meetup for people on Twitter

Nerdy, I know. However, the NHL has a strong presence on Twitter.

You don’t have to be on twitter to attend one, though.
