Wild Sign Dubielewicz
According to Mark Wolleman, filling in for Russo, the Wild have signed free agent goalie Wade Dubielewicz. Many hockey fans will remember that "Dubey" is the goalie that bolted for the KHL, and then made his triumphant return to the Islanders, only to fail in that attempt due to NHL requiring him to pass though waivers. Columbus then claimed him, and the Isles lost out completely.
He is, as we say, nothing special, but he is insurance in case Josh Harding gets traded. The fact that they signed a back-up level goaltender tells me that they may have something cooking for Hards, but it could also just mean that the organization wanted reliable back-up and help in Houston.
Terms of the deal had not yet been released as of this writing, but I will update as soon as I find them.
***UPDATE*** The deal is for one year. It is likely it is a two-way deal, but I have yet to confirm that.
*******NEW***** 7/20/09 - Confirmed through sources that the deal is a two way deal, worth $600K while he is with the big squad.
Don't stop watching folks. There are still moves to be made, and these could prove to be important should injuries or trades arise. Keep your hockey goggles on, just because it's hot out doesn't mean hockey goes away.

Goalies
If the Wild picked him up, there could be something there. No one can argue that this team has had either an incredible knack for finding diamond goalies in the rough, or have gotten incredibly lucky finding goalies. maybe there is something there. then again maybe it has been the Lemaire defensive system. But you have to agree that Rolli and Manny did alright after leaving here.
