According to Fiona Quick, of Minnesota Hockey Journal, Danny Irmen & Robbie Earl have been placed on waivers by the Minnesota Wild. If they clear they will be assigned to the Houston Aeros. We'll look for updated info as it comes.
EDIT: Confirmed by Michael Russo
According to sources, the Wild has placed Danny Irmen and Robbie Earl on waivers. If cleared by 11 am tomorrow, the Wild would be able to send them to the minors. As of now, they haven’t been cut because they’re practicing in Minnesota. Again, this doesn’t necessarily mean Irmen hasn’t cracked the Opening Night roster because Wild would have 30 days to send him down. But …
This isn't surprising, considering the extra forwards and how unimpressive Earl had been. Irmen, however, will likely be on the shortlist from Houston with Kalus.
