Wilderness Walk for 11-5-2010: Game Day Edition
It's game day, which means we make our own fun, even if there is relatively little news surrounding the Wild. Well... other than injuries and call ups, but there is only so much you can do with that type of story. So. Take the Walk, create your caption (make me laugh will ya?), answer the Facebook Question of the Day, and then make a donation to the Hockey Wilderness Movember team.
See how I slipped that last one in? Sneaky.
Video of the Day:
Our friends at KARE11 did an "Extra" on Movember. Good stuff.
Wild News:
Wild's Nystrom: Value beyond the stat sheet | StarTribune.com - Kent Youngblood covering for Russo.
Minnesota Wild heed all-clear message - TwinCities.com - The Wild are working hard in their own end. Somehow, Bruce missed the words "Sorry Tom" at the end.
Former second-round pick to play in first NHL game Friday night for Wild - TwinCities.com - Matt Kassian is all set. We'll have more on him in a bit.
Enemy News:
Matchsticks and Gasoline - SBN's local Flames blog. Another good group of people.
Calgary Herald - Local Sports section straight from Calgary.
KiPA's Korner:
Hitting The Post: More donuts and slim pickings - Really slim pickings. I mean... really.

OMG! Puck at my face! Puck! At! My! Face! What do I do? Oh yeah, make that puck mah bitch. Sorry. Didn’t mean to freak out there guys. Hey guys! No roughing in my crease! Now you see what you did there? This why we can’t have nice things…
- this is what I imagine Bax’s internal monologue as btw.
