Want to? Not at all. Figure there is any purpose in keeping him on the bench behind Backs for the next four years? Nope.

Agree. It really isn’t a matter of “want” as it is “need.” As long as Backstrom’s issues don’t appear long term, the next best thing he can do is bring us pick/prospect/player gold.
