Questions to Answer

  1. Nashville and Minnesota have typically played firewagon hockey. Will tonight be any different?
  2. Steve Sullivan has owned the Wild this year. Can Minnesota keep him off the board?
  3. Andrew Brunette has four points in his last three games. Will tonight continue that trend?
  4. Can the Lats - Ebbett - Marty Havlat line get back in the flow and take it to the Predators?
  5. Will the Wild get Josh Harding his second career 4-game win streak?

I’m getting lost in a sea of Preds jerseys

by SpaethCo on Mar 18, 2010 6:02 PM CDT via mobile reply actions

It’s amazing how many chants contain the phrase “you suck” or just sucks in general.

If the Wild keep playing like this I’m going to get on board with the Preds fans.

by SpaethCo on Mar 18, 2010 7:45 PM CDT via mobile reply actions

3-0 at the end of 1?

Looks like “Flagrant Fail” is the flavor of Josh Harding we got tonight.

by Yabbs on Mar 18, 2010 7:45 PM CDT reply actions

you can’t pin this all on Josh.. he had no chance on at least 2 of those.

Wild is in complete defensive breakdown mode ala October all over again.

by SpaethCo on Mar 18, 2010 7:58 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions

It’s more painful in person. I’m sitting next to girls all painted up that won glass seats.

by SpaethCo on Mar 18, 2010 7:53 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions

My thoughts are with you.

Tough loss

Wings and Flames have day off tonight and we let go 2 BIG POINTS!

by Cowboy11 on Mar 18, 2010 8:27 PM CDT reply actions

Being badly outshot

11 to 24

This team just can’t mount any offense

by SpaethCo on Mar 18, 2010 8:27 PM CDT via mobile reply actions

i like Owen Nolan. But when he’s your best scorer (last year) you have a problem! And this problem are not solve this year again… We had a lot of expectations in Havlat but he dont shoot :S

by Cowboy11 on Mar 18, 2010 8:29 PM CDT up reply actions

we picked up Lats though, so there was some improvement. We still lack a genuine finisher.

by SpaethCo on Mar 18, 2010 8:40 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions

at least the Maple Leafs lose while taking 40 shots. losing with around 12 shots a night is frustrating.

by zerkalo on Mar 18, 2010 8:42 PM CDT up reply actions

13 now. still being outshot 2:1.

The only consolation is there are ice girls here.

by SpaethCo on Mar 18, 2010 8:43 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions

Good news and bad news

Bad News First : St.Louis 4 – NY Rangers 3 Final
Good News : Flyers 2 – Dallas 2 2nd period

by Cowboy11 on Mar 18, 2010 8:43 PM CDT reply actions

Looks like I might get to see Wellman tomorrow

Richards said as long as guys were competing for ice time they would stay in. Time to sit someone out and see how bad the kid wants it.

by SpaethCo on Mar 18, 2010 8:50 PM CDT via mobile reply actions

Who you want to sit when we have no deep in this roster ahaha

by Cowboy11 on Mar 18, 2010 8:57 PM CDT up reply actions

Yep

Time to see what the kids have to offer, showcase Harding and Sheppard for tradebait and pack it in.

Harding show more consistency than Backstrom

by Cowboy11 on Mar 18, 2010 9:03 PM CDT up reply actions

All right! Dubie’s in net to start the third!

by RAU on Mar 18, 2010 8:57 PM CDT reply actions

Screw Doobie, put in Borat.

by TylerDurdenUMD on Mar 18, 2010 8:57 PM CDT reply actions

+1

this game is going to be like 8-0 with this pace and Dubie in net.

by SpaethCo on Mar 18, 2010 9:04 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions

Still being outshot

14 to 34

for that 5th goal we all get free frosties from Wendy’s

by SpaethCo on Mar 18, 2010 9:14 PM CDT via mobile reply actions

Who does?

Us here in MN or the Preds fans?

by RAU on Mar 18, 2010 9:19 PM CDT up reply actions

the team with 5 goals. present your ticket and redeem free small frosty.

by SpaethCo on Mar 18, 2010 9:21 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions

Lucky Nashvillains.

by RAU on Mar 18, 2010 9:22 PM CDT reply actions

I'd like to thank all Minnesota hockey teams that played tonight

for being downright depressing.

RonGarde: Target Field is going to be exactly like Progressive Field, except you'll have a chance to die of frostbite in the middle of July

by fischean on Mar 18, 2010 9:36 PM CDT reply actions

Nashville is significantly more organized in their chants. We’re lucky to get a good round of “Lets go Wild” going at the X — these guys have a plethora of chants throughout the game.

Goal song of the History of Rock and Roll Pt 2 (better known as the “Hey song”) has “you suck” inserted after every “Hey.”

Starting lineup announcements are followed by “sucks” after each player is announced, and after the head coach is announced it’s followed up by “and he sucks too.”

.. and then of course there is the goal count-up. “1 2 3 4 … He shoots .. he scores .. YOU SUCK!”

.. oh, and I’m completely pro-Ice Girls now. Bring that shit on.
