Minnesota Wild @ Nashville Predators: Game Recap

Minnesota Wild 0 - 5 Nashville Predators

I don't even know what to say, except, Thank God this game was NOT on TV. Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting.

Hey, Casey Wellman and Nate Prosser, welcome to town. Now, you've seen how bad this team can be. Just don't be worse.

Seriously, with the Wild in 10th, there was still an outside chance that things could fall into place. I hope beyond hope that people no longer feel that way.

"We weren't that good today," Harding said. "The great thing about hockey is that we can forget about this one and get ready for tomorrow. I think we all know we need to be better."

So yeah, let's forget this one and move on to another game we can't watch. Viva Le Revolucion!

Don't forget, HW viewing party next Friday night at Campus Pizza.

Hockey Wilderness Three Stars:

  1. Colin Wilson (1 G, 1 A)
  2. Jason Arnott (1 G, 1 A)
  3. Pekka Rinne (17 saves)

Five Questions to Answer:

  1. Nashville and Minnesota have typically played firewagon hockey. Will tonight be any different? Well, one team came out to play.
  2. Steve Sullivan has owned the Wild this year. Can Minnesota keep him off the board? Not bad, just the one assist.
  3. Andrew Brunette has four points in his last three games. Will tonight continue that trend? No.
  4. Can the Lats - Ebbett - Marty Havlat line get back in the flow and take it to the Predators? No.
  5. Will the Wild get Josh Harding his second career 4-game win streak? No.
