Nike - Bauer 150 Jr. Supreme Hockey Stick Unsafe

From The Hockey News comes word that the uber popular Nike - Bauer 150 Jr. Supreme hockey stick have been found to have unsafe levels of lead paint on them. It should be noted that 1 - No recall has been issued as of yet, and 2 - nothing has been issued in the US as of this writing. However, lead levels have a lower tolerance in the US than in Canada, so it is inevitable.
Read the article at the link above, but if you are a hockey parent, know a hockey parent, work for a hockey league, etc, please inform your team, friends, league officials, etc. No one wants kids getting sick over a stick.
More news on this if there is any.

The sticks that are currently under scrutiny were manufactured in 2006 and went to market in 2007. At that time, the company was owned by Nike, Inc.
Supreme One50s came out last year. This might be all Supreme (and maybe Vapor?) composites…
