Kipper?
I thought they picked up Toskala to take over some of the workload?

And that's the way it sounds today
Russo is saying that Toskala will get a start.

Odd… I got here half way through warm-ups but only saw Kipper taking shots.

RT @Russostrib: Last time Calgary and Minnesota met and kiprusoff didn’t start was Nov. 7, 2003 (Jamie McLennan, the ex-Wild, current-Flames goalie coach)

19 seconds in and Steve Staios scores. I'm going to bed.

Kill me
Latendresse hauled down on one end with no call, then Iginla fed Giordano who buried it. 2-0. I’m taking a nap now.

Uh-oh
Cal Clutterbuck injured right leg very bad. Took all his might to skate from goalmouth to bench

Replay looks like Clutterbuck got caught by a skate blade above the knee pad, below the breezer

Desperate team
Wild dont look like desperate team we want to see. Already over. Oh, by the way, Wings win today…
Wild overpassing again.

Weak-ass interference call on Miettinen. Just terrible.

Nice to see Cal back on the ice

He suffers from Johnssonism. He can play solid for big minutes, but the mistakes he makes are huge.

Pissed off
Wild, we all know, are two sides, bad and good. And this afternoon, we see the team already out of the playoffs… Disappointing to see only one team hit the ice this p.m.
Where the flying F-CK did the NHL get their refs? Call the (not)Blown calls.
Hook on Andrew Brunnette with 16:30 left in the Second.
Hook on Robbie Earl with 14:18 left in the second.
Call ’em out as you see them!
Funny
Funny. The other day, with 21 games remaining, wild predicted to win 18 and lost just 3. Including today’s game, the number of loss is 2. ahah
doesn't bode well.
RT @Russostrib: Clutterbuck still missing. He tried to come back but it didn’t last. Brodziak missing too

Damn
Iggy finally broke the streak

Zids needs a shorter/longer stick. If he misses any more of those I'm going to scream
(louder than I did the previous 5 times he’s had golden opportunities)
Just Awesome.
Mr Fletcher, if you resign him to a 5 year deal, I will buy season tickets next year.
I love Guillaume Latendresse

Well. Basketball is a a bunch cocky players who know they are good and won’t hesitate to let you know it. “I want the ball, because I am the best and will embarrass anyone who tries to stop me” Football players are mostly dumb and you can hardly understand what the hell they’re saying, and even if you can understand them, they don’t make any sense. “I hit him as hard as I could to try to win for my team mates and get the ball to run for scoring.” And baseball players are just boring. “Well this inning we are going to go out there and do our best not to fall asleep on the field”
Plus bonus points for the foreign player’s accents
Shoot the puck. Shoot the puck. Shoot the puck.
If all else fails, give the puck to Lats to shoot the puck
Should've been a call on Nolan at 12:25.
More referee idiocy. Not that I’ll complain about that one.
I would say Zannon and Zids are having a worse game.
The D isn’t looking sharp
AAARRGGGHHHHHHHH
WHat the FUCK!!!, had the puck, driving to the net, makes contact with the goalie trying to get outta the way.
Complete BULLLSHIT BLOWN CALL!
Rule #1. Don't Piss off the Irishman.
Doesn’t Hagman know this?
Cowboy11.
You need to stop with the Debbie Downer stuff man, you’re bringing me down.
Poor Defense and Piss-poor Refereeing were what did us in.
#1. If I went through the game again, pulling the calls on either side that were just plain old not called, I’m sure I could come up with at least 10. I’ve documented a couple of them above, but I just cannot get over how horrid the officiating has been this year. Did they retire a bunch of veteran referees this past year? Are the Wild getting the shit referees assigned to them?
#2. Barker didn’t look sharp. Neither did Schultz. Shane the Sheriff wasn’t great. Zannon was slow, wonder if he’s nursing an injury. Zidlicky was honest to goodness horseshit garbage. What a waste of bench space. They could’ve called up a Rookie for his spot tonight. Constantly misplaying the puck, errant passes, just looked like he was at 3/4 speed against the Flames.
If you are Richards, how do you get your guys to respond to this letdown. 5-2? Really? I would pull the Herb Brooks and have Zannon and Zids out there skating laps after the game. Maybe joined by a few others too.
On to the Positive Side:
Nolan still looks like he’s closer to 30 than 40. Glad to see that.
Shepard wins a few more faceoffs than he loses, so that’s good.
Latendresse is freaking sweet. Slight mancrush developing (if only for his awesomeness).
Havlat looked okay, if a bit offbeat. He seemed sluggish at some times, and like he was trying too hard others. Gotta wonder if he was feeling a bit frustrated.
Nik Backstrom will be the only reason this team has a chance to see the playoffs. He made some incredible saves today that were simply amazing. This game would’ve been 10-2 if it weren’t for him.
