Wilderness Walk for 4-17-2010

Is everyone watching the playoffs? If you aren't, you should be. Why, you ask, would you watch the playoffs when the Wild are not in? Many reasons, but for the sake of brevity, the main reason you should be watching is to see just how far the Wild have to go before they are a contender.

They have a very, very long way to go.

Random Wild video of the day:

In honor of Wes Walz joining the world of Twitter (@walz3737) I give you this.

There was no news in the Wild world, so instead I offer up playoff re-caps from the SBN family.

East:

Devils Win 5-3 in Roller Coaster Game 2 (Series Tied 1-1) - Broad Street Hockey - Flyers perspective.

New Jersey Devils Tie Up the Series; Beat Philadelphia Flyers 5-3 in Game 2 - In Lou We Trust - Same game, NJ side of things.

Senators lose 2-1 to Penguins, leave Pittsburgh with the split - Silver Seven - The game that will forever be remembered for Andy Sutton screaming "ARE YOU AN EXPERT?" rather than as a playoff hockey game.

Kris Letang ain't comin' off wack: Pittsburgh 2, Ottawa 1 - PensBurgh - Pittsburgh re-cap.

West:

Zetterberg's the hero for Detroit's 7-4 win - Winging It In Motown - Tales from the Darkside.

Coyotes 4 v. Red Wings 7: More Concentration Need - Five For Howling - Snakes were thrown, the game was lost. Too bad.

That Bites. Sharks Return The Late-Goal Favor, Top Avalanche 6-5 in Overtime - Mile High Hockey - The only place to find Avs news with less bias than you get from Adrian Dater.

Sharks Defy Media and Fan Bias, Defeat Avalanche After Five Comebacks - Fear The Fin - Sharks perspective.

KiPA's Corner:

Hitting The Post: The Playoffs, Day 3: A Balance in the Force - I find your lack of faith disturbing.

Enjoy the day folks.
