Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

Russo also wrote his opinion of the Wild free agents this week. Take a look and see how we line up with his ideas.

Fletcher talked about the team's current unrestricted free agents (Boogaard, Nolan, Scott, Ebbett, Hnidy, Earl). He said he's had conversations with a few but indicated that they'll likely reach July 1. Usually this late, it always goes to July 1. And usually if it gets to July 1, players leave. The only example of a Wild UFA being re-signed after July 1 since I've covered the team (2005-present) off the top of my head was Wes Walz. I cant remember any unrestricted free agents since I've covered the team being re-signed this late before July 1.

Wow. I was quite honestly shocked when I read his thoughts. Obviously he has better insight than we do, so I trust what he says. Never thought they were going to walk away from Boogey. Amazing. Talk about an entirely different direction. Wow.

Well

Some of us saw that coming, if you’ll remember. I sent Boogaard on his way, which doesn’t bother me much.

Hahaha! Russo is KING

We never know what may happen, but what he said made a lot of sense… I would hate to lose most of them though, but we absolutely need changes, and if we want the space to nab a sniper or a #2 center, then we may have to let them all go…

I can’t believe a poster claimed Boogy was the best enforcer in the game

I agree Buddha

I was also shocked when I read the part about Boogey. But things could change so who knows.

What's best for the team has to be done,

even if I really hate it. There’s some guys in there I’d really like to see stay, buuuuut oh well.
