Wilderness Walk for 5-2-2010

I mean it. I'm not normal. I hate weekends. Bah.

Random Wild Video of the Day:

Playoff Team Game ReCaps:

ECSF Game 1: Bad first period leads to Bruins OT victory - Broad Street Hockey - I watched most of this game. I think the Flyers had more issues than just the first period.

Stanley Cup of Chowder - For Boston Bruins Fans - My question from Twitter: Why was Satan not signed all year? Ridiculous.

Second City Hockey - For Chicago Blackhawks Fans - The Hawks got smoked. Plain and simple.

Nucks Misconduct - For Vancouver Canucks Fans - Meanwhile, the Canucks look more and more dangerous every game.

KiPA's Korner:

Hitting The Post: The Playoffs, Day 18: May Day? No, mayday Complete wrap up of both games.

Off the Trail:

Power Forwards In the NHL: Revisiting the Mythical Beast - The Copper & Blue - Derek over and the C&B lists BTE as one of the rare "Power Forwards." A couple things. One, the 16.9% shooting % is certainly maintainable. If Ryan Malone can do it, so can BTE. Second, Chuck Kobasew made the list last year? Really? OK. That's cool.

My parents got me a BTE jigsaw puzzle for Christmas! :P

It was more of a joke gift because he still has the MTL jersey on the puzzle but still… :P

I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us next season! I HOPE he won’t be a flop… 35-40 is doable if he’s the real deal

And yeah that guy clearly hasn't seen BTE play if he says 16,9% isn't sustainable

The guy always seems to have a chance to score. Also, in his time in Minny, he was almost 19%, so yeah, unless he has an off year, I don’t see why his shooting percentage would decline very much..

Pshhh

“Hates the weekend,” he says…

The promise of the weekend is the only thing that keeps me going during the week. And now it is Sunday and almost over :(

See… and weekends are when I work the most. I hate them.

Love that video!

I normally don’t hate the weekends, but I absolutely hate this weekend. I have been doing homework and projects all weekend long for finals.

By the way Bryan, when I saw the G-Lat photo this morning, I almost gagged!

But then I realized it was G-Lat and the crisis was averted… anyway, thanks for nothing! ;)

Depends on what you wanted the result to be

I don’t want to be a chicken, I don’t want to be a duck, so I shake my ass… not sure I follow :P

And yes, he does look much better in Iron range red and forest green!

WHAT?

I really have to resort to this, don’t I?

I don’t wanna be a chicken,
I don’t wanna be a duck,
so I shake my butt

The video is horrible, but it was the only one I could find that wasn’t either bordering on child pornography or not about what I wanted it to be about.

The people in that video are supposed to0 be trained dancers. And they can’t figure out the chicken dance, and are winded by doing it. Wow, indeed.

weekends...

Not sure where I stand on those. I work every other weekend, and the ones I have off, are the only time I have two consecutive days off, and by Sunday, it feels more like some sort of cruel trick than anything else.

Plus I spend them avoiding studying and homework. 1 course down, 3 to go.

And BTE looks so much better in iron range red.
