Best Sweaters in the NHL?

The good people at Winging it in Motown have a blog on their site titled "Best Sweaters in the NHL?" They rank the best 10 NHL jerseys from around the NHL (outside of the Red Wings and Blackhawks). Teams can make more than 1 appearance on this list for their respective jerseys (home, away, alternate). Making 2 appearances on this list, our own Minnesota Wild! Nice of them to show us some love. I will reveal no spoilers as to where they are ranked on this list, so with that in mind, follow the link, read and enjoy!

Great find!

The Minny alternate is by far my favorite out of all jerseys ever. Nothing better than watching BTE score while wearing that jersey for some reason!

I do like the dark green color.

I wasn’t too wild (get!?!) it get it?!?) when they first came out but I have grown to like them.

I like the green as well. I like the old green jerseys more than these ones, but these aren’t terrible.

I agree.

I absolutely adore my green jersey, it’s the old version of the green one.

I am going to get a new green jersey soon because my old green one has Gaborik’s name on it. I got that jersey before he turned into a huge prick though. So it’s time for a change!

Every hockey jersey that I have is blank atm haha. 2 Wild, 2 Wings, a Caps and Sabres. Don’t know if that’s a good thing or not haha.

Some people like blank jerseys.

But some like having a name on them.

Personally, I like having a name on mine because I like to rep one of my favorite players. I never have just one favorite player lol.

It’s not a bad thing if your jerseys are blank. It is just a preference.

When my family bought my Wild jersey for X-mas...

They weren’t sure between Gaborik, Koivu or Backstrom, so they went for a blank one. I’m glad they did! I wouldn’t have wanted a Gaborik jersey right now.

That's the thing...

I want names on the back of my jerseys lol. Too difficult deciding with the ones that I have, especially the Wings jerseys that I have.

That is my problem

when it comes to buying jerseys haha!

I debate for weeks whose name I want on it and then change my mind once I get to the Hockey Lodge. So then I pick up about 4 jerseys and have to decide from those 4 choices. I am really bad at making decisions! Ha.

If Wild jerseys would be easy for me to get...

I’d have lots with names on them, but my family had to order it by Ebay from the states, and jerseys are expensive… Wouldn’t have had to regret the name on the back!

Yeah

I bet they are very hard to find up in NB.

The only jersey I have is my green Gaborik one and I regret having it now that he’s a big prick. Actually, I didn’t pick it out. My dad gave it to me as a birthday present about 3 or 4 years ago so I really had no choice. But my dad knew I loved Gabby back then.

I really want a new jersey but I can’t decide who I want on it. Jerseys are expensive and I just want to make the right choice haha. I am debating between Lats, Clutterbuck, Burns (hopefully he doesn’t get traded), or Koivu.

Also debating between all of them as well. Since the old red one is close to what the current red one is, I’m thinking Lats for that one (since he never wore the old green), and most likely Mikko for the old green one. Wow, that was easier than deciding on my 2 Wings jerseys hahaha.

To me...

A Latendresse alternate green jersey would be my new skin, meaning I would wear it ALWAYS….

O.K. maybe not, but it’s on top of my wishlist for sure… I’m going to try and get one someday for sure!

I get all of mine from Ebay, a lot cheaper that way. Just have to make sure it’s legit/close to legit since people sell a lot of bs jerseys on there. Jerseys are expensive like you said, which makes me want to to just get a jersey for cheap off of Ebay and then take it to a place that does names and numbers for jerseys.

I adore my green jersey as well (old version). Same goes for my red one (old red one). I hate the RBK Edge system, it took away some really great jerseys from all teams.

The green jersey

Our home jersey before we switched to the red one was the best jersey in all sporting history. Our green jersey today is good and the red one is slightly below average.
