Too many grinders
I hope this is sign, then trade. Earl didn’t exactly light it up in Houston or Minnesota. Just another energy grinder on a team full of energy grinders. Not enough production.
It's a 2 way contract
.. and it’s not like this team is immune to injury. For a league minimum $500K call-up, at least the kid didn’t look lost paying in the big show.
The kid obviously isn’t the second coming of Bobby Hull, but that’s not what he was signed for.
And hey, now those Robbie Earl sombreros won’t go to waste!
I have mine
Do you have yours?

Not a bad signing, nice and cheap.
Earl showed more potential than a lot of other Wild prospects. Might as well keep him around.
Surprising
but a pleasant kind of surprise. He works hard and puts the puck in the net every once in a while. 6 goals in 32 games is pretty good from a 4th liner call up.
bring on the grinders
Bring on the grinders! The more the merrier!
we need more quick, physical guys who will give us a fierce forecheck..
this will put a lot of pressure on the other teams defense..
they will turn the puck over and give us scoring opportunities!
chicago implemented a strong forecheck during their cup run…
shoots he scores….. light the lamp… hit the Horn!
go Wild!
