Wilderness Walk for 9-21-2010
Some interesting posts for your walk today. A first article of the season for Russo's #2, some statistical breakdown from the one and only James Mirtle, and plenty of other fun to be had. On this, the day after the Hockey Wilderness fantasy hockey draft, I figure at least 19 of you need something else to think about.
Enjoy the day all. Looks like a "beautiful" day here in Minnesota. Sunny and 70s. Blah.
Random Wild Photo Video of the Day:
Someone took the time to put together a highlight reel for Matt Cullen. Here it is.
Wild News:
Day Three #mnwild update | StarTribune.com - Russo's Rants covering day three. Good stuff, as always.
As always, Madden has something to prove | StarTribune.com - Excellent stuff fro Kent Youngblood. Madden's story is riveting, to be sure.
Falk impresses with more than his size | StarTribune.com - Not mentioned in many pre-camp posts, Falk looks be to be a front runner at this point.
Marek Zidlicky. Pierre-Marc Bouchard get in some non-practice skating for Wild - TwinCities.com - Not even sure this warranted being included, but here it is.
Training Camp Battles: Northwest Division - ProHockeyTalk - Hockey - NBC Sports - Circular Theory helps out ProHockeyTalk on NBC with his thoughts on Wild camp.
System News:
The Third Intermission: Meet your 2010-11 Aeros: Anton Khudobin - Borat gets some love from T3I.
Off the Trail:
NHLN U.S. announces 2010-11 pre-season broadcast schedule - NHL Network - If you have the NHL Network, you can watch quite a few games this preseason. Enjoy.
Top three centres around the NHL - The Globe and Mail - A breakdown of the top three centers in the league by age, height, and weight. Not altogether too useful at face value, but interesting none-the-less.
Foster perseveres through tragedy, injury - Kurtis Foster will likely be the only Edmonton Oiler that will get a standing ovation from the crowd at the X. Wishing nothing but the best for Fozzie.

Fozzie's story always puts a lump in my throat
Our son was born a few days after Lila. I’m sure parents and non-parents alike share the disbelief of losing a child that young; I just can’t imagine…
Let's Go Twins!
Minnesota Wild Off-season: In Fletch We Trust.
Atta boy Daniel :)
Always nice to see the HW seed being spread!
It’s gonna be painful to watch Fozzie in an Oilers jersey…
And those are some damn nice Cullen highlights! Only problem is the Canes jersey on him…
