Wilderness Walk for 12-1-2011

Negativity? How can you be negative?

Welcome to December, ladies and gentlemen. One month left in the year, and just 24 shopping days until Xmas. Speaking of which, we are putting together the second annual Wild 12 Days of Xmas. If we can come up with all 12 days, we'll run with it.

I know you're excited.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Hockey Wilderness team for Movember. A total of $1406 was raised, with Rob Sasser edging out the late push by Nathan for the top spot on the team. Great job, Rob, and great job to everyone who helped raise money. All of that money goes to great causes to help keep men alive. What could possibly be better?

Now... all you whiners can go save your mos and the rest of us will simply allow our beards to fill back in. Enjoy your cold upper lips.

Today's Walk is pitifully short. It is what it is, I guess. If you read a link we missed, please share it in the comments.

Wild News

Yeo wants Gillies to channel 'inner Cal' | StarTribune.com - I don't think Gillies can grow the Mo, but OK.

Shootout triumph could carry a big price | StarTribune.com - You know, with the dirty hit and all. But hey... it wasn't on purpose, right?

Clutterbuck, Powe injured? No problem as Wild pulls another W out of its hat | StarTribune.com - Post game Rants.

View From The Lighthouse - Minnesota Wild - Cody Almond is on his way up. Someone is hurt more than they thought, or they are really nervous that those charley horses are worse than they thought.

Tending the Fields

The Third Intermission: Charitable opportunities - Updates from Houston.

Energy line fuels Rockets victory - Sports - Castanet.net - Bulmer followed up his hatty with a two goal performance.
