They won’t need Miettinen to play top-line minutes, so I don’t think Tampa fans will have as much distaste as Wild fans did. He’ll slide into a nice 3rd-pairing wing, giving the Bolts a better penalty killer and a grinding forward to play with Dominic Moore.

I actually like this move.

I think that while Mittens wasn’t a top 6 forward, and he needs to add about 4 inches to his stick, he is a serviceable player, and can find a good role with the Lightning.
