Jarod Palmer to Make NHL Debut
Due to the recent injury of Mikko Koivu, the Wild are calling up Jarod Palmer who will see his first action in a Wild sweater against the New York Islanders. The 6-foot, 200 pound Fridley, Minnesota native has notched 10 points with 4 goals and 6 assists in 26 games with Houston.
Hopefully this is only temporary as the Wild's top forwards are a depleted bunch. Let's hope the kids step up in the meantime so the guys can get healthy and come back to a 1st place team.

Curious to see how he fares
He did very well in the preseason. I thought he actually had an outside shot at making the team.
I'm that ''ignorant dumbass'' who writes with the ''whiny idiot homer'' over at Hockey Wilderness.

Impressive debut
Was at the X for the game. I thought he did really well for his first call up; was impressed to see he likes to shoot the puck. Hoping he sticks around. And with the constant wave of injuries, that shouldn’t be too difficult.

Was at the game too
I agree with you. Obviously with the wave of injuries, we have to do everything possible to try and score. And it was pretty evident in the Islanders game that unless we took shots from afar at the net, that it wasn’t going to get there any other way. I think Spurgeon and Palmer led the team in shots for the game. Would like to see Heatley, Cullen, and Bouchard step up.

Was kinda hoping for a Heatley goal at the game. But alas!
