Right off the top, congratulations to the Eden Prairie Eagles and Saint Thomas Academy Cadets on their Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament championships. The Eagles went into three over times in the longest championship game in tournament history. The game was eventually won on a goal from Kyle Rau, brother of Wild prospect Chad Rau.
That's your daily dose of good news. We will avoid discussing the Wild at any length, and it seems easier to just avoid that particular brand of depression.
