Why the Wild should draft a Sioux.

Good morning everyone, now I know this will upset the Homers on here who are huge Gopher fans but I feel like tweaking a few noses anyways LOL.  Why should the Wild draft a Sioux?

For one thing, look at the names on this list, many are recognized for hard work, nose to the grindstone type play.  Dedication, determination.  Things sadly missing on this current crop of Wild players.  Granted not everyone on this list is a superstar, many were grinders & tough defenseman.  The Wild need players like these that have dedication to their team, to their fans.  The Sioux after every home game salute their fans.  They salute us, digest that for a minute.  Tehy are playing for themselves, their teammates , their school & their fans.  How many teams do that?  Pro or college?  I know other schools are just as hard working, as the college game is more "pure" for a lack of a better term.  The pros are full of Mercenaries just looking for a paycheck.  But even so, many of the former Sioux still play with passion & fire.  Parise is a prime example, another is Oshie with St Louis & Stafford with Buffalo.  Its just a short post here but look through the list & see who you recognize.  Belfour?  Ludwig? Patrick? Tippet?  Ward?  Notable alumni

Over 250 Fighting Sioux alumni have gone on to play professional ice hockey, including a number of current and former NHL players:[39]
