I posted here a few months ago about the Minnesota Warriors, a hockey team for wounded or disabled service members, here is an update.

I am happy to announce that the Minnesota Warriors will be playing our first game against our sister team, the USA Warriors, a team founded in 2008 at Walter Reed. We are the only two teams like this in the country. The game will be Sunday, April 3rd at 12:30 at the Vadnais Heights Sports Complex. The event is free. We take players at any level, and membership, equipment, etc. is free to the player.
