Winning Boogaard Logo to be Limited Edition T-Shirt | May
I have exciting news!!!! Last night I finalized details with the awesome people at Glass Bangers T-Shirts to create a limited edition t-shirt with the winning Derek Boogaard memorial logo on it.
There will only be 100 t-shirts available to purchase once the winning logo is selected. We felt that a limited edition shirt will ensure a memorable tribute to Boogaard.
The family of Derek Boogaard have asked that anyone wanting to make a donation on Derek's behalf be made to Defending The Blue Line, so all profits from the t-shirts will be donated to this outstanding charity.

Only 100 for sale
I hope they’re not horribly expensive. I’m going to buy 2, one to keep and one to give away on the site.

I sent him an email. No way 100 shirts is going to cut it. The response he is going to get from this is going to be insane.

I asked if it had to be Rangers related, because I’d like to enter a Wild one.

Ok, he wants a Rangers theme

Makes sense
Since, you know, he played 22 games with the Rangers and only 5 years with the Wild…

Anyone petition yet to have a Boogey patch on the Wild jerseys for 2011-2012?

The Wild told us they are “working on the proper way to honor Derek, both short term and long term.”

But yeah, if it's a Rangers blog taking care of it, it actually does make sense
We should try to get some Wild shirts made

First one is alright
But not a fan of the second one. The 94 is so prominantly featured, and it wasn’t his number for the vast majority of his career.
As mentioned in the comments on his post, the one that features the 94 makes it look like an homage to their Stanley Cup win.

Don't sweat the Wild tie-in
There are super secret plans in the works for something that, should it happen, will make many people very happy.
