The news around the league is that during a press conference today, it will be announced that the Atlanta Thrashers are moving to Winnipeg starting next season. The further news is that there will be no realignment until after the upcoming season. Reasons being that the league would like to wait on the outcome of Phoenix and the new CBA. There are also rumors that the league could be looking at a deeper realignment that might look to change the divisions and conferences to a greater degree than simply moving some teams around.
