Here is the interview with first round pick Zack Phillips. The things that stands out to me is just how happy the kid is. I don't think he stops smiling the entire time. He is truly excited to be an NHL player, and specifically a member of the Minnesota Wild.

He does address the concerns with his skating, which I don't think are as big a deal as the are being made out to be. The guy had back to back 95 point seasons, that doesn't just happen. Besides, Andrew Brunette has always been knocked for his skating, and he turned out OK. Sure, Phillips is a center... players don't always end up playing the position they were drafted in.
