Minnesota Wild vs. Pittsburgh Penguins: Preseason Game 4

Stay connected for news and updates

Nathan is on the golf course, unaware today was a day game. Bryan is... wherever the heck he goes when he's not here, so I'm just going to throw this very quick game thread up here. I've never done the game thread before, so I don't know how to put all the pretty stuff, but all we really need to know are the lineups, the questions and to know we have a place to congregate, right? If Nathan or Bryan swing by, maybe they can spruce the game thread up, but for now, here's your lineups for today:

September 24th 2011, Wild @ Penguins, Game Time: 2:00PM CDT

Wild Forwards:

Guillaume Latendresse - Matt Cullen - Pierre-Marc Bouchard

Colton Gillies - Eric Nystrom - Jarod Palmer

Jeff Taffe - Warren Peters - Jed Ortmeyer

Jon DiSalvatore - David McIntyre - TBD

D-pairings

Clayton Stoner - Jared Spurgeon

Justin Falk - Jordan Hendry

Jeff Penner - TBD

Goaltenders:

Niklas Backstrom - Dennis Endras

Penguins:

Forwards: Pascal Dupuis, Richard Park, Chris Kunitz, Ryan Craig, Matt Cooke, Eric Tangradi, Nick Johnson, Steve MacIntyre, Colin McDonald, Aaron Asham, Joe Vitale, Evgeni Malkin

Defensemen: Matt Niskanen, Zbynek Michalek, Brian Strait, Alexandre Picard, Kris Letang, Joseph Morrow

Goaltenders: Scott Monroe and Brad Thiessen

5 Questions:

1. Can the Wild stay undefeated against Malkin and the Penguins?

2. Will the ''first'' line continue to be all around the net?

3. Will the Geralds continue to produce? (Spurgeon and Palmer)

4. Warren Peters was the do-it-all against St.Louis. Will he have another strong showing and perhaps even win a spot on the 4th line?

5. Will anyone remember that today's game is in the afternoon?
