Wilderness Walk for 1-14-2012: Game Day Edition

The Wild wouldn't lose to two teams that hate each other back to back, would they?

Well folks, it's game night. How's the old confidence level? The Wild face the best team in the West... the St. Louis Blues. There have already been a couple matchups this year, but none with this much riding for the Wild.

Gillies on waivers, questions in far bigger supply than answers. Chuck Fletcher is ready to act, and the veterans better figure that out, or they're going to find themselves on another squad real quick. Frankly, it has to be a bit embarrassing at this point, doesn't it? These are big, rough, tough hockey players, and the attitude leaking under the door is one of petulant children.

Will certainly be interesting to watch tonight to see if anyone got the message, or if perhaps they have simply given up.

After the jump, a handful of articles to get you caught up for the day.

BJs take Gillies

Safe to say he won’t make much of an impact there.

Did they?

I’ve been looking for any news as to whether he made it through waivers or not. Oh well, maybe it’s time to replace him with McIntyre or Kassian.
