Wilderness Walk for 1-19-2012: Game Day Edition
First of all, let me thank all of you for tolerating us through our protest yesterday. We had a little fun with the process, and despite knowing we are not nearly as influential as Wikipedia and Google, it felt good to simply be part of the protest. Several people on my own Facebook and Twitter accounts had never heard of SOPA before yesterday, and the blackout woke them up to it.
I say a job well done.
Today, we're back on the horse. Game in Toronto tonight means you can expect to be overwhelmed by the folks from PPP. So, get your commenting fingers ready if you expect to keep up. Good times, to be sure.
Enjoy your day, all.

Wild looks to ease tension; NHL delays Koivu All-Star Game replacement | StarTribune.com - Tension won't be easy to ease, and why in the hell would Koivu attempt to play? It makes so little sense.

Mikko still wishing to play in the All Star Game does not shock me! He is a stubborn Finn and cares too much. So I understand where he is coming from. However I think its crazy but again not surprised!
It is kind of crazy
Him playing at anything less than 100% scares me. I know there’s no hitting in the all-star game, but I still don’t like it too much.
I'm that ''ignorant dumbass'' who writes with the ''whiny idiot homer'' over at Hockey Wilderness.

Toronto is my cousin/best friend's fave team
Turns out, both of us are missing this game… this game we’ve waited so long to see…fuck.
Plus, I miss all the action with PPP. I remember last year I was alone with maybe 1 or 2 other readers on the game thread, so the guys at PPP came over to HW to keep us company. It was frigging awesome. Shame I won’t be there tonight!

I'm not sure why I read today's comments on the strib regarding Russo's story on Fletch
If these idiots are a true representation of Wild fans, that is just sad. My favorite one was a person who said Fletch is hoarding all his prospects because he is on an ego trip.
Agreed ....
You do get a handful of morons on there with comments that make you go “Huh? WTF! That makes no sense!!”. But that’s not an accurate representation of all comments/commenters. I’ve been known to make an intelligent comment or two on there (or so I like to tell myself).

I used to look at the comment section
Now I don’t even bother. There are a few people that actually make sense, the other 85% of it is just incoherent ramblings. To me its like the South Park episode when the guys come from the future and all the people start yelling “they took’r jebs”. Just nonsense…
They just have colourful language.
We should honour or at least humour our neighbour’s language. Also since Buffalo is in the US shouldn’t it be Buffalo Sabers instead of Sabres?
we took what we liked from the British and what we liked from the Americans and sprinkled it lightly with French. and the letter U is just plain awesome

I keep reading
how nobody should try to do it on their own or outplay their ability. Do you think this hinders creativity?
SOPA/Wilderness
… despite knowing we are not nearly as influential as Wikipedia and Google…
Don’t sell yourself short. After Russo’s blogs and articles, this is the first (and only other) site I check out to get my Wild fix. Nice to always see intelligent remarks and comments made on here. Love the articles too! Ok, I’ll stop brown nosing now!

Anyone have ESPN Insider?
I was looking at the rumors page and saw something interesting about the Wild “Wild: Not THAT Desperate” “GM Fletcher still has a valuable commodity to offer” And that commodity would be our prospects (I’m guessing? I don’t have Insider.).

Pretty much regurgating Russo
Wild aren’t gonna do anything hasty, etc. Lebrun says a couple of the rental options like Prospal, etc.
Ah yes...
