Wilderness Walk for 1-2-2012: Is it Over Yet? Edition
Well folks, today is your big day. As many of you return to work, the NHL hosts the Winter Classic. Maybe you can watch it on DVR when you get home.
For those who are jealous of us who get to watch, know that this particular author will not be watching. We have gone through the reasons, so we won't do so here again. However, just know that while you long to watch the game, we few, we bitter who choose not to watch it stand at your side through your misery. For those of you who will be watching... enjoy the false rivalry and the ridiculous date and start time. Enjoy the corporate pageantry in all it's glory.
I'll watch reruns of something on the History Channel.
Late news from Russo via Twitter: Clayton Stoner, Casey Wellman, and Devin Setoguchi are all practicing today.

Protesting the Winter Classic
I’m with you on this, Bryan. I honestly cannot name 2 teams in the NHL that I care less about. I may have a certain distaste for the divisional teams and Anaheim, but I’m totally apathetic towards the Rangers and Flyers.
I know my not watching won’t change the minds of the NHL/NBC talking heads, but sometimes a man just has to stand on principle.
You know you're a Wild fan if Spam Whoopie Gerald-buns comes up in conversation

Biggest thing I took away from the Latendresse article
He’s only 24. I knew that, but I keep forgetting it. He still has so much of his career in front of him, that he has time to turn it around, get healthy and reach his potential. I’m hoping he does it in Iron Range Red.
Proprietor of Hockey Wilderness - We take Minnesota hockey WAY too seriously.
Winter Classic
I didn’t actually watch it but clearly it was a boring game, i mean look at the score, 3-2…obviously a boring game.
