Wilderness Walk for 1-21-2012: Hockey Day Minnesota

Plenty to do today, everyone. If you aren't doing something hockey related all day, you are a failure to Minnesota. Right? Right.

We will have a representative at the high school games in Minnetonka today, our first foray into that particular aspect of the game. Everyone wish Jesse well as he heads out there. You can watch hockey all day on your TV, which I'm sure FSN would love you to do. Or, you can go be part of it, which I would prefer.

For example, come on out to Roseville today at 1PM. Defending the Blue Line's Skate for the Troops will be going on. It's free, it's outside, and it is going to be a blast. Some open skating (bring your skates), some free clinics for Mite level players, some prizes, autographs, and the best part? An outdoor game between the DTBL All Stars and the MN NHL Alumni Association.

Come on out. John Rose Oval in Roseville. If you miss it, you'll be sad. We don't want that.
