Alright fellow Aero lovers, we are in for a mighty fine weekend of hockey. Our award winning Team has not one, not two, but...wait for it....THREE hockey games over the course of this weekend. Tonight's game is in OKC against those slimy little baby OIlers, as is tomorrow nights game. Sunday, we take on Grand Rapids, which are the baby Red Wings. Friday and Saturdays games start at 7pm, and Sundays game starts at 5.
I won't be around for tonight's game, and I will be missing the end of Sundays game. I'll be here full force for the game tomorrow night.
Exciting news for this weekend and the Aero's is that both Cuma and Zucker made the trip to OKC and both guys are expected to play. This hopefully means return of the beast line with Coyle-Granlund-Zucker. If we have a decent crowd here for the games I'll do one rundown of the weekend Sunday night, otherwise I'll round up some reviews of what went down for each specific game.
Aero Joe doesn't have the radio stream listed yet (they list an "official" station who always seems to be carrying high school football instead of hockey). If someone could post the station/link once it's up that would be great.
Finally, the questions for this weekend are as follows:
1.) Does Granlund live up to his rookie of the month title this weekend?
2.) There's been a lot of talk about how Houston and OKC are the teams to watch this year. Who looks better over our two game series with them?
3.) Do we lose steam over the long weekend due to a three in three plus travel (and yes, I do believe they are busing back from OKC Saturday night...13 hours I believe)
4.) Is this the weekend that Pizza scores his first goal of the season?
5.) How does the return of the beast line look?
6.) Assuming Keumper and Hackett share goal duties this weekend, who looks better?
7.) How badly does our D struggle?
