Alright folks. New week, new games, new thread smell. The Aero's have 4 games in the next 6 days, so the fan post section is going to be hop-ing. I will most likely combine the threads for Sunday nights game with the game for Tuesday because Tuesday's game is at 10:30am (yes, seriously) and I personally will be at work. If anyone (cough Ger cough) will be around and wants to do updates that would be awesome.
Tonight's game is against the Toronto Marlies in Houston. I have no idea what a Marlie is. I thought it was Marlins until I checked 30 seconds ago. They currently have a record of 3 wins and 5 loses, with one win being in OT and one lose being in a SO. Hopefully they will add another loss to their books tonight.
On to tonight's questions!
1.) The Aero's have been off (at least game-wise) since Sunday night. Does this mean they don't have to depend on rallying in the 3rd AGAIN?
2.) The D. Good/Bad/Ugly...or a combination?
3.) They've been taking a lot of...questionable penalties lately (by questionable I mean, they really should know better). While they look great on the PK...seriously how many penalties do they take tonight?
4.) How are our goalies doing? My guess is Keumper takes the start, I have no idea why. Regardless, both him and Hackett have done pretty well considering how confused our defense seems to be on what their job is.
5.) With a large number of guys being on the IR, how does the chemistry look? The lines have been changing a lot, which sometimes causes problems when guys aren't use to playing together.
Lastly, I have taken it upon myself to become the keep of penalty stats for the Aero's (Please don't kill me Bryan!). I have a nice little spreadsheet that I keep on my information on, with who takes what penalties, how long they are, and total PIM to date. Anyone interested in a copy can email me. It's kinda sweet. I can also post updates in the threads/wrap ups. Today's interesting stat- Bagnall is leading the team with PIM at 32.
Let's go Aero's!!!
