Possible guy to look at in the draft???
Here's a link to an article The Hockey Writers did on WHL forward TJ Foster.

He's a draft overager, so obviously his numbers come partially from being old for the league, but he may be a guy to take late in the draft, as the article projects. The article describes him as a gritty, two-way player with good speed, hands, and a decent shot. He is defensively responsible and anticipates the play well. He kind of sounds like he can be boom-or-bust, but with a late draft pick that is not a very high risk.
What do you guys think? Would he be worth a 5th-7th round round pick this year?

5th to 7th rounds
are those rounds where you take a shot or two on guys. It all depends on what it is you are hoping that kid could become. Do you take a shot on offensive upside? Do you aim for a steady guy that could possibly hold down a bottom 6 spot in 4 to 5 years? The fact of the matter is that if you manage to get a couple 5th to 7th round guys up to the NHL and have them be decent role players, you’re doing pretty good in those later rounds.
So, sure, why not give the guy a look. It would be nice to know how big the kid is.
