Around SBN: Yankees Deny Rumors That Team Is For Sale

The Wild will bring up two more forwards from the Houston Aeros today, recalling Jeff Taffe and Cody Almond. The team has placed Carson McMillan on injured reserve with a lower body injury, and has reassigned Kris Foucault to the Aeros.

Strange move.

Taffe definitely deserved a call-up, but Almond was pretty unimpressive on his last stint with the Wild.

Yeah I guess McMilan is injured and Fletch/Yeo must not have liked what they saw from Foucalt so they needed to bring up some bodies.

I’ll be glad to see Taffe, at least he has some hands, maybe with him the Wild can score 2 goals instead of one? Almond…. well getting some NHL experience can’t be bad for him…

Foucalt was pretty much invisible.

I think Taffe is the kind of player who could actually make a mark, rather than just making up the numbers.
I would’ve liked to see David McIntyre again. He’s been impressive whenever he’s been called-upon…plus he has an awesome ’tache.

I know

I think Taffe and McIntyre have been the best call-ups so far on the forward front.

Almond

Actually, Almond has been pretty unimpressive on pretty much every stint with the Wild.

Funny

It sounded like “Autumn” to me.

Two points for the first one to get the reference.

I find myself failing to get the 2 points.

Being from Minnesota, it would be rude to put something clever here.

Yep

This captures the shuffling better than circus music but I think the Titanic reference sums up the season as a whole…

Indeed

It has been a pleasure…
