My take: Being a UFA after the season is tough in that he may just walk, so a sign and trade would be preferred for a serious offer. With all our prospect center depth he may not be the greatest fit, but he is a 23 year old proven 2 way center in the NHL. I think he would be a great 2nd line center for us.
