The Ottawa Senators sometimes come off as Canada's forgotten team. The Maple Leafs and Canadiens get all the press, the Flames and Oilers get laughed at, and the Canucks win games, but no one likes them. Then there are the Sens. No one every really mentions them. Poor guys.
The fact is, the Sens had a fairly decent year, just not quite good enough. They have some young potential, some aging stars, and some holes they need to fill. They are equal parts poised for greatness and disaster. What happens in the next few years will determine that course.
And you get to pick the next piece. Choose wisely.
